A series of stunning revelations about the Titans’ horrific past were revealed in the series’ penultimate episode, which aired on April 3rd, 2022.
After Eren Yeager’s (Yuki Kaji) Founding Titan awakened the Titans from their rest during the Rumbling, they became the primary target for those trying to stop Eren from wiping out all life on Earth.
Eren’s conspiracy could not be stopped without the cooperation of Annie Leonhardt (Yoshi Shimamura), Mikkasa Ackerman (Yui Ishiwaka), and the rest of the Scouting Regiment, so they formed a team with Reiner Braun and the Marleyans (Y Shimamura, Y Shimamura, Yoshimasa Hosoya) (Y Shimamura).
The third and final season of Attack on Titan was believed to be in the works following the airing of episode 87.

Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 3 Plot
The ninth chapter of the manga series, Attack on Titan, will be adapted in Season 4, Part 3 of the anime series.
Prior to episode 87 of the final season, there were fears among fans about what would happen in the manga’s “War for Paradis” arc.
As of now, only nine chapters of the original source material have been adapted into a film, with many expecting the final few chapters to be adapted into a film. That Attack on Titan’s popular anime adaptation would conclude faithfully in 2023 after nearly a decade of production following the Japanese broadcast of “The Dawn of Humanity” should put viewers at ease.
When Eren and his Titans arrive, Marley’s shore is defended by the Global Allied Fleet. However, Eren’s Colossus Titans overwhelm the fleet and it is annihilated. Even Marley’s land artillery is no match for the Titans, so the soldiers had to flee to higher ground in order to protect themselves.
Eren remembers his mother’s murder as his Titans begin attacking Marley and reaffirms his desire to slay every one of his foes. While Eren continues to move forward, he summons each of his pals to speak with him in Paths.
Individually, he tells each of them that he plans to become a menace to the entire world in order for them to kill him and gain their favour with other nations. He also states that his death will permanently destroy the Titans’ strength, allowing all Eldians bound as pure Titans, including Connie’s mother, to return to their human form.
They escape away together while in Marley and spend their rest of their days on the Paths, as Eren explains when he talks to Mikasa. Eren wants Mikasa to forget him when he dies after spending some time together in this world.
A sincere effort to make atonement for Eren’s behaviour toward Armin at Niccolo’s is evident when the two men meet. On the other hand, Armin tells him to focus on making peace with Mikasa.. The governments of the globe were able to stop Eren, in spite of Armin’s fears, before he could wipe off 80% of the world’s population.
For the foreseeable future, countries will be unable to undertake an effective reply. Eren tells Armin to accompany him despite Armin’s protests that there is a better route.
Eren brings Armin to a volcano to show him the “liquid fire” that he read about as a kid: Lava. Armin learns from Eren that Ymir Fritz has remained obedient to the royal family for centuries despite the violence she endured from her initial owner because she loved him despite the pain she endured.
Despite not fully comprehending the woman, he knows that Mikasa was the one who freed her from her bonds. Eren argues that he doesn’t know why Mikasa is so essential to Ymir, but that every action he has performed since obtaining his future memories has been in service to Mikasa’s emancipation of Ymir.
Eren tells Armin that he can’t think properly because he can’t distinguish past, present, and future recollections. Because of his twisted view of time, he’s taken steps to ensure history unfolds as he remembers. He’s used his powers to make Dina Fritz’s Titan consume his mother.
Armin asks Eren if Mikasa can escape at sea. Armin hits Eren over Mikasa’s treatment.
Armin mocks Eren’s forgetfulness and Mikasa’s. Eren wants Mikasa to adore him alone. Eren reluctantly admits he doesn’t want to die. Eren assures Armin that the world would never forget what he did.
When they saw ruins with trampled remains, Eren says he would have kept on if his friends hadn’t stopped him. Eren doesn’t tell Armin why.
Armin hands Eren a shell and thanks him for what he’s done for Paradis. Eren tells Armin he’s convinced he’ll save humanity once he dies. Eren calls Mikasa, Armin, Jean, Connie, Levi, Reiner, and Pieck into the Paths as he approaches Fort Salta. Former comrades beg Eren to stop, but he refuses.
He says he’ll steal the world’s freedom to attain his own, but he won’t deny the Alliance’s right to oppose him. Eren refuses to negotiate and says that only his death will stop him from destroying the planet.
Fort Salta launches Marleyan airships to stop Eren and bomb his Titan. Eren shoots them with the Beast Titan. Eren and the Beast swiftly destroy the airships, but his allies arrive and evade the Beast Titan’s blasts to assault him.
Eren and Ymir build more titans on his back while his pals strive to destroy his neck. Soldiers reach Eren’s neck and blow him up, cutting his head from his body. Armin becomes his Titan and kills it.
Eren’s head changes back into a Colossus to continue marching. Armin tries to fight him in Colossus Titan form. Eren is the better fighter. Armin immobilises him long enough for Mikasa to enter his Titan’s mouth and kill Eren by splitting his skull and spine.
Mikasa and Armin bury Eren’s head at the base of the tree he used to nap under outside Shiganshina, and Mikasa still visits it years later.
Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 3 Storyline
A quick look through the original manga by Hajime Isayama reveals that the third and last half of Attack on Titan season 4 will focus mostly on one decisive confrontation between Eren Jaeger and the Founding Titan.
We will also witness additional flashbacks to the time when the Survey Corps was with Ramzi (the young pickpocket from episode 87) and his family, and as the majority of fans would have anticipated, Mikasa and her companions have not heard the last of Floch Forster.
Attack on Titan season 4, part 3 needs to address the fate of our love pairings (Eren and Mikasa, Armin and Annie, and Floch and himself), as well as explain how the world moves on politically, since that the status quo of Eldians and Marleyans has been permanently altered by Eren’s genocide.
A few more elements of Eren’s time-bending Attack on Titan scheme, Ymir’s objectives, and the origin of the Founding Titan remain to be filled in, in addition to unanswered questions such as Mikasa’s peculiar headaches. Ymir’s motivations have been hinted at, but they have not yet been revealed.
Previous Story Recap of Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 3
Bertholt, Annie, and Reiner (Marcel died on the road) infiltrate Shiganshina. Bertholt’s Colossal Titan crashes the gate, and Reiner’s Armored Titan invades Wall Maria, forcing Paradis’ inhabitants behind two walls instead of three.
The trio masquerades as orphans and trains with Eren, Mikasa, and Armin, who lost family in the attack. Marley’s Titan-shifter spies become close to their fellow recruits, but never lose sight of the Founder. Bertholt, Annie, and Reiner start their second assault, but abandon it after finding Eren Yaeger has the Attack Titan.
The Survey Corps decide to use Eren’s newfound strength to cover the hole Bertholt’s Colossal Titan made in Trost’s outer gate. An encounter with a Female Titan makes Eren suspect that other Titan-shifters may be hiding in plain sight. Annie is captured when Armin reveals she’s the Female Titan.
Attack on Titan season 2 reveals more secrets. The Survey Corps learns the walls are made of hibernating Titans, and Conny learns “ordinary” Titans were once people. Paradis Island’s leadership opposes the Survey Corps at the royal family’s demand, due to King Fritz’s 100-year-old peace declaration.
Marley sends Bertholt and Reiner the Beast and Cart Titans. Colossal and Armored Titans kidnap Eren as Annie’s Titan-shifter pals. Eren’s use of Founding Titan to flee proves his relevance to both sides.
In season 3, the Survey Corps stage a coup to end King Fritz’s pacifism. Historia Reiss, a Survey Corps soldier and illegitimate royal offspring, replaces the King. Eren learns through memories how his father stole the Founder from King Reiss in Attack on Titan season 1.
Grisha Yaeger gave his kid both Titans and a key to their family basement with the truth about Eldia, Marley, and the Titans. With Eren in control of his abilities and the Survey Corps’ future assured, an expedition to reclaim Wall Maria is undertaken. Survey Corps defeats Armored, Colossal, Beast, and Cart Titans. Reiner, Zeke, and Pieck (the Cart) flee while Armin inherits the Colossal Titan. Eren and the Survey Corps slay every Titan on Paradis Island and head for the water.
Season 3’s basement reveals Grisha Yaeger’s history. In Marley, Grisha married a member of Fritz’s royal line and created the Eldian Restorationists. All members of the resistance were doomed to become mindless Titans on Paradis Island after Grisha’s son Zeke betrayed them. Grisha was freed by Owl, the Restorationists’ secret leader and Attack Titan predecessor. Grisha lives behind the walls.
Between seasons 3 and 4, the Eldians on Paradis Island allied with Zeke Yaeger, who sold out his parents as a child. Paradis created links with the Eldian-friendly Azumabito family. The new allies aim to fight Marley by inciting a little “Rumbling” with the Wall Titans, handing the Founding Titan’s power to Historia’s future children, and building up their force. Eren goes renegade and makes a deal with Zeke, who also opposes Paradis Island’s intentions.
The Beast Titan plans to utilise Eren’s Founding Titan and his own royal blood (as King Fritz’s pledge binds Zeke) to make all Eldians sterile, terminating the Titans’ existence.
Eren infiltrates Marleyan alone, forcing his Survey Corps friends to follow. Despite innocent deaths and Sasha’s death, Eren successfully returns Zeke to Paradis Island and gains the War Hammer Titan.
Marley’s Tyber family (who formerly owned the War Hammer) declares Eren public enemy number one and invades Paradis Island to stop a Titan apocalypse. Reiner encourages his superiors to launch a counterattack immediately because Paradis island sits above a valuable fuel source that may modernise their military and eliminate the need for Titans.
The Yaeger brothers execute their strategy on Paradis. Eren establishes the “Yaegerists,” a gang of devoted warriors, and seizes power. Eren attacks Armin and tells Mikasa he’s always loathed her for being biologically obliged to protect him, stating the Ackermans were bred to serve their “host.” Eren’s theory seems wrong.
Zeke tricks Levi’s crew into drinking spinal fluid-tainted wine, turning them into Titans. Attack on Titan season 4, part 1 ends before Eren and Zeke can merge their abilities and execute their mission.
