She drew all of our attention from the time she entered the room with her bubbly personality, and she later cemented that attention with the sheer force of her talent. Gibson is referred to as a “star” by series creator Russell T. Davies as he selects a new ensemble for the following generation, as well as the throngs of ardent Doctor Who viewers, who would watch the new iteration.
