The Walking Dead saved its most epic plot twist until last, as is typical for shows of this genre. The Commonwealth is a sizable, highly developed, and well-armed settlement that seeks to maintain society as it existed prior to the outbreak.
In the first two episodes of Season 11, Daryl, Maggie, Carol, and the other lovable characters fought against the Commonwealth.
Their goal is to maintain society as it was before the outbreak. However, the survivors who have been through many tragedies over the course of the past 11 seasons are aware that there really is no turning back to the way things were done in the past and that the class-based prosperity that the Commonwealth enjoys today is unsustainable.
They have come to this realization as a result of the fact that there really is no turning back to the way things were done in the past.
Walking Dead Season 11 Part 3 Release Date
With 24 episodes and three batches of eight episodes each, The Walking Dead season 11 is the longest season yet. Season 11 of The Walking Dead debuted in two parts on August 22 and February 20, respectively.
The release date for The Walking Dead season 11, part 3 is currently unknown, although it is anticipated that the programme will return in the latter half of the summer.
Season 11 of The Walking Dead has finished filming, and a summer release date of either late August or early September gives room for post-production.
This summer, Tales of the Walking Dead is also scheduled to debut, but it’s not yet known if it will air concurrently with the original show’s last season or just before it.
The latter is the more probable scenario because it enables AMC to run Walking Dead programming for a longer period of time, similar to how Fear the Walking Dead season 7 is only coming back now that The Walking Dead season 11, part 2 has concluded.
According to the official release date, the third instalment of The Walking Dead Season 11 won’t be available until 2022. The official release has not yet been given a specific date.

Walking Dead Season 11 Part 3 Plot
It’s quite doubtful that The Walking Dead on AMC will conclude in the same way as the comics, what with all the adaptations they’ve done to the story, but there will be parallels between the two.
The rebellion that is fomenting among the poorer classes of the Commonwealth, for example, will undoubtedly come to a head much like in the comics. It’s also very likely that Mercer would revolt against Governor Pamela Milton, and this could set the stage for a civil war to break out.
In the comics, Rick prevents this from happening, and Pamela is subsequently arrested. This paves the path for The Commonwealth to get a more egalitarian government in place. Rick’s untimely demise at the hands of Sebastian, which, despite the emotional toll it takes on readers, ultimately paves the way for a better and more peaceful future, is how the graphic novel series comes to a close.
The Walking Dead comics then give a glimpse at this future by concluding on a flash-forward with an adult Carl raising his own family and several characters, including Michonne, Maggie, and Negan, still alive and doing well in the safer world that Rick worked to create.
Due to the fact that there are Walking Dead spinoffs and movies in the works, it is highly improbable that The Walking Dead programme will conclude with a flash-forward of any kind.
Even if it’s not completely out of the question, it’s quite improbable that Rick would have a part in the series finale. Although the spinoffs have reduced the number of prominent characters that Sebastian could kill, it is still possible for him to do so.
It is quite likely that the dispute with The Commonwealth will be resolved in the third part of season 11, and it is also likely that the show will reintroduce the Civic Republic as part of its setup for spinoffs and movies.
The conclusion of The Walking Dead will ideally provide its survivors with a chance at the quiet existence they have worked so hard to achieve, while also making it meaningful that this won’t actually be the end of the travels of many of the characters.
Storyline of Walking Dead Season 11 Part 3
Part 2 of the eleventh season of The Walking Dead concludes with Lance Hornsby claiming Alexandria, Hilltop, and Oceanside for The Commonwealth. Hornsby’s attempt to kill Maggie was unsuccessful, and Daryl, Aaron, and Gabriel openly rebelled against him before this turn of events took place.
These survivors have no places to go back to, thus they are currently on the run. Even with their alliance with Walking Dead’s Negan, his new wife Annie, and her army from Riverbend, they are no match for the Commonwealth soldiers who are protecting their previous communities.
When the third part of season 11 airs, Hornsby will almost certainly be looking for them, and it is nearly probable that the resolution of this dispute will take up the majority of the show’s remaining episodes. Connie, Kelly, Eugene, Max, Magna, and Ezekiel are currently leading an investigation into the whereabouts of The Commonwealth’s missing residents.
They have high hopes of unearthing more shady dealings committed by The Commonwealth’s ruling class, and anything they find will undoubtedly stir up more discord in a neighborhood that is already in the process of organizing a backlash against the established order.
